Ingredients
1 1/2 lb Spinach
1/2 inch piece Ginger finely chopped
1 Green Chilli chopped (optional)
4 cloves Garlic finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
Gram Flour (besan)
Method
Wash the spinach and cook for a few minutes in the minimum of water. Puree the spinach in a pestle and mortar or liquidiser. Add the ginger, chilli, garlic, salt, garam masala and enough besan to make a stiff mixture. Roll up into balls and deep fry. Serve hot with a curry sauce.
