1 large tin Pineapple slices
Flour
Clarified Fat
Method
Drain the pineapple slices free of juice (reserving the juice for adding to fruit drinks), and when dry, sprinkle lightly with flour from a flour dredger. Heat a little butter in the frying pan (making sure that it does not hold the flavour of any other food) and put the slices to fry till golden brown on both sides. Drain on greaseproof paper and serve at once hot.
