Mandarin Chicken

Ingredients
2 1/2-3 lbs Chicken
2 tablespoons Oil
1 Green Pepper sliced
1 small Onion sliced
1 cup diced Celery
1 can (4-5 oz) Water Chestnuts drained
1/2 cup Chicken Stock or Broth
1 teaspoon Monosodium Glutamate
1 teaspoons Salt
1/4 teaspoon Ginger
2 teaspoons Cornflour
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
16 oz can Bean Sprouts

Method

Remove the skin from the chicken and cut meat into thin strips. Heat the oil in the frypan, add the chicken and cook, stirring until white (about 3 minutes).

Add the greeen pepper, onion, celery, water chestnuts, stock, monosodium glutamate, salt and ginger. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

Mix the cornflour with the soy sauce, add to the pan with the bean sprouts and simmer for three minutes longer.
