Spumone for Six
Ingredients
1 pint Cream
1/4 lb Nuts
1/4 lb Peel (orange lemon and ananas)
2 glasses Liqueur (any according to taste)
6 Egg Yolks
6 sherry glasses white Wine
6 tablespoons Sugar
Method
First make Zabalione thus:-
Beat egg yolks with white wine and sugar. Continue to beat in double saucepan and cook until thick (do not boil). Allow to cool. Beat cream, mix with chopped nuts, peel and liqueur. Stir this into Zabalione. Place in mould and deep freeze.
