Baked Pears In White Wine

Ingredients
6 Pears
White Wine to cover
Sugar
Whipped Cream

Method
Peel pears and place in an oven-proof baking dish with dry white wine and sugar, to taste. Cover and bake in a moderate oven (375 degrees F, Mark 4) for about 45 minutes. Serve cool or chilled with whipped cream.
