Preamble
Ingredients
2 oz chopped Bacon
1 oz Butter
1/2 lb chopped Onion
2 oz chopped Celery
1 lb peeled cored and chopped Cooking Apples
3 oz white Breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon chopped Parsley
Sugar
Salt And Pepper
1/2 beaten Egg
Method
Fry the bacon in butter for 2-3 minutes, reserve.
Cook the onions and celery for 5 minutes in the same pan with the butter and bacon fat, add the apples and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
Return the bacon to the pan with the the onion, celery and apple mixture. Add the breadcrumbs and parsley. Season with sugar, salt and pepper.
Cool and add the beaten egg.
