Icing For Easy Patty Cakes

Ingredients
1 cup Icing Sugar sieved
1 teaspoon soft Butter or margarine
1 tablespoon boiling Water
Vanilla Essence or pink Food Colouring or sieved cocoa to colour

Method
Put the icing sugar into a small bowl, add the butter or margarine and pour over the boiling water. Mix until smooth, then add the colouring or flavouring of your choice.

Remarks

I suggest you make up the icing with vanilla and ice the white cake with it, then add one-two drops of pink food colouring to the remaining icing and ice the pink cakes with it. Then sieve in a little cocoa to the remaining icing and ice the chocolate cakes with it.

Garnish the cakes with hundreds and thousands, jelly crystals or smarties. These must be stuck on while the icing is still soft.
