Ingredients
6 lb Plums
3 lb Sugar
3 pints Vinegar
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Cloves
1 large piece Whole Ginger
Method
Bruise ginger and boil all ingredients together until plums are tender. Then strain and bottle.
