Mietta's Review
This is one of St Kilda's perennial favourites. Locals and interlopers converge upon this affordable Malaysian Hawker style cafe that spills out onto an uber-cool corner of Acland Street. There's hustle with plenty of bustle here. Super efficient wait staff make sure that a steady flow of the hungry are met, lead, fed and finally sated- farewelled. The open kitchen provides an animated backdrop of thunderous woks working at full speed. The Blues tunes float somewhere in the back ground occasionally lost to the instantaneous explosion of gas-fuelled, ceiling-high flames. The menu is Malaysian and doesn't change the Lobak, chicken wrapped in beancurd and deep-fried, is a favourite, so to is the Seafood Laksa. The wine list is short but offers reasonable value for money.
