Mietta's Review
Physically, a step down from the Bathers' Pavilion Restaurant is the Cafe. Although run by the same team and with the same great view over Balmoral beach, prices are lower and the atmosphere more relaxed. It is very glamorous and a little lush. There is a variety of seating, a cosy nook with fireplace, armchairs, big, bold cushions, magazines to glance through, lots of booths, fireplaces and couches. You can people watch while you enjoy the food from the tempting menu. A very North Shore experience - great.

Sydney Eats 2005 "A little piece of California on Middle Harbour, this Spanish Mission-style gazebo is shaded by trees and filled with natural light and understated chic, from its casual, Mediterraneaninfluenced cafe menu - a great brekky/lunch spot - to more upmarket restaurant fare"
Daily Telegraph NSW Restaurant Guide 2004, This is quintessential Sydney on a plate. The imposing Bathers' Pavillion is just a hop skip and a jump from the beach. The venue has a licence so you can drink alcohol without food.
